About the Team

The Triage and Navigation Service for Young People’s Mental Health in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland

The triage and navigation service reviews the mental health needs of children and young people living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland using information provided to us. We make onward referrals and recommend services locally to support the emotional well-being and mental health of each child or young person.  

This service is managed by a team of clinical and administrative staff employed by DHU Healthcare and is based in Leicestershire. The team consists of a Clinical Service Lead, Clinical Manager and Mental Health Nurses with support from three administrative staff. 

We receive referrals from GP practices, social workers, community paediatricians, school nurses, CAMHS
and, through this website, directly from young people or their parents or carers.
